Apple to Sell Accessibility Products in 2016


Apple, 2015 recipient of an American Foundation for the Blind  Helen Keller Achievement Award, may be on the verge of doing even more for its blind and vision impaired customers. Japanese tech blog Mac Okatara reports Apple may begin selling accessibility-related iOS and OS X-supported accessories and peripherals in its retail stores in early 2016. So far Apple has offered features such as AssistiveTouch and VoiceOver accessibility shortcuts, and continues to improve its accessibility offerings.
